It's the first of the new year and as so many at this time, I had high hopes and resolutions for the coming year. But then as always life has other ideas. It has been one thing after another and I haven't been able to paint since before Christmas. I am feeling very stressed I can tell you. The changes that have accord are ones that will go back to normal soon either. My schedule and routine has been blown to bits! And so far I can't seem to get back on track.

The holiday season is always a blur of activity for me with family and business activities. In the midst of all of this activity I also participated in a group show at Vision Gallery. The open house/group showing was called "Blue Christmas" and featured about 150 works by various artists having the color blue in their works, as the thread that tied the theme together.
The Opening night was a success. There were just so many wonderful artworks on display, with the artists on hand to talk to our quest about our art and what makes it happen for us.
